Server Set Up
Frontline will provided specifications and will set up the server to support the standard specifications to run NAGIOS.

Frontline will supply an appliance to run Nagios and harden the operating system to run Nagios optimally. This appliance will have a GUI interface for quick set up.
Classes of Servers:
Frontline will discover the proper monitoring parameters. (Example – Web Server, File/Print Server, mail server, DB server, Network devices, etc.)
Discovery/setup/testing
Frontline will discover the processes that need to be monitored on each classes of server. We will then determine the proper configuration for monitoring the classes of the servers. Once that is determined we will deploy the agents to monitor these processes. We will test the configurations and escalations of the alerts.
Monitoring agents setup (Server)
Frontline is assuming that there is an automated process (example: Active Directory) to automate the deployment of the agents to the servers for monitoring. IF not we will need to bill for time to physically log into each server to deploy.
Once the agents are in place Frontline will configure and test the Nagios platform for the monitoring of each server.
Alert Notification Set up
Frontline will set up the notification of the alerts to the specific requirements set forth by the customer
Nagios Tuning
FrontLine-IS can continue to modify the Nagios environment to constantly Tune the system for optimal performance.
- Add/Delete/Modify nodes on the network to monitor.
